Marshmallows!!! It has been far too long since I have complained to you all about my lack of motivation... no time like the present, particularly when NaNo is only a few days away. Who's up for another shot? I'm keen!

Oh, my little marshmallows, it's been too long! I'm so very, very tempted to do Nano, but I think I should probably sit this one out. I'm graduating in December and I have a lot to do to get ready for full-time adulting (ughhhh). I know! I'll be your personal Nano cheerleader instead, okay?

Yes! I need all the cheerleading I can get. Congrats on graduating, that is so exciting!! Full-time adulting is overrated, I wouldn't rush into it LOL that music is seriously epic. I feel a writing sprint coming on already... I'm not sure what to do this year. I have my old, tired novel sitting in the corner looking at me with those puppy dog eyes, pleading WRITE ME ALREADY! But I'm bored. Maybe a fresh start is in order? I'm thinking I might need to have the "it's not you, it's me" talk with my novel... it's time for a break

If you have other ideas you've been thinking about, I think Nano is the perfect time to give them a go. Besides, 50k is a big goal. If you're bored now, November might be really hard if you stick with your old novel. A break might be just what you need to come back to it after November with new ideas!

I'm in!! Tackling 5 classes plus work and nursing clinicals...but hey might as well add a big spoon of WTF to the huge plate of OMG I'm already dealing with I will be returning to Nano to work on an old idea that I came up with sometime last year. I'm handwriting (since assholes stole my laptops and I don't trust my story on my mom's laptop...not even if I save to USB...still feel like they can see it...I know I'm a weirdo) so I doubt that I get to 50k but dammit I'm going to try. I have the plot I want to start with. Just need to flesh it out a little and work on some world building. It's Nano Time!!! Crazies unite!!!

RAE! *virtual hugs* HOW ARE YOU?! I don't know why I'm shouting, probably just because I'm excited and it's only one more sleep until Nano YAAAAAY You sound SUPER busy! I have faith in your crazy plate of WTF and OMG, I think it's going to be wonderfully delicious. You know it's funny.. but I seem to get more writing done when I have the least amount of free time available. I'm pretty busy at the moment too, so maybe that means a productive November is around the corner?? I have a few new ideas floating around in the abyss, not sure which one to go with yet. I definitely think it's time to mix things up a bit

NaNo Update, Day 3: I did nothing/practically nothing on Days 1 & 2 because I used those days to do final planning for my simple civil wedding/awesome marriage party happening on NaNo, Days 7 & 8. (My 30th birthday is also on NaNo, Day 7! I thought I'd give him just he one date to remember ;3 )
But!
Today I enacted Operation: Early Bird, wherein I set my alarm for 4:50am in order to be up and writing by 5 am. I've long suspected this would be a very productive time of day and I was right! It was really quiet, and really still, and no one (not even the stupid cat) bothered me. It was wonderful!

Congrats Katy!!!! I'm dating my books right now. It's very serious. We're totally committed to each other lol. I need to try early bird writing because I've got 88 words. Sad thing is I had over 3k for this story...until it was stolen. Oh well. I guess I'll try again. Need to do some world building. I'm so lost on so many things.

Five days into NaNo...I've written a whopping 88 words. I suck. I'm going to try to get some writing done today. Not exactly sure how that will go. I did gain two more characters for my novel using the Adopt a Wrimo forum. But still...I'm stuck at 88 words lol.

I, too, have done nothing. Motivation is hard, and I'm hoping being closer to the end of the month will turn on the pressure...eventually.

So I might be doing Nano after all? Like, unofficially? (Except it totally is official because I just added my novel.) I was bored this evening so I started Shiny New Thing and the next thing I knew I had a whole chapter, so why the hell not? I very much doubt I'll reach 50k, but at least I might have something to show at the end of the month *shrugs*

If homework doesn't count, it should. I know all too well that can take up so much time. I also know that the importance of chocolate can't be overestimated, so you're obviously the real winner here.
My nano frenzy didn't last very long since I got sick on my second day and have been kind of moping around since. Maybe I'll catch up this weekend (hahaha...as if).

I've done homework...that's it...Well I take that back...I started a new Twilight fanfic, failed a test or two...who's counting?! , got into an argument with my sister/bestie, almost quit my job, fell in "like" with a guy, decided I'm too damaged to date or like anyone, accepted the fact that I'm destined to be alone and childless for the rest of my life...yep...I've done everything except work on my NaNo novel.
